TonkaTrak Gear Rack

TonkaTrak is all about engineered extrusions and precision hardware that can be seamlessly integrated to create elegant gates.

500mm long Gear Rack is fitted inside the Track extrusion and locked in place with a Rack Clamp at both ends (Clamps supplied with TonkaTrak Kit). 

Note: TonkaTrak Gear Racks are ordered as 500mm lengths.
TonkaTrak Track, Gear Rack and Carriage Kits are ordered separately. 

Tonkatrak is a lightweight aluminium cantilever system. The gate is made like a standard sliding gate and either riveted or welded to the Track. TonkaTrak suits aluminium gates with 50mm or 65mm frame.

1. A lightweight gate means it can be counterbalanced by a small concrete slab - 300mm deep is sufficient.
2. Grooved wheels reduce the need for the top guidance
3. No need for a concreted runout strip along the fence line

Tonkatrak is a lightweight aluminium cantilever system. The gate is made like a standard sliding gate and simply stitch-welded into the monorail track. It has amazing benefits compared to a regular sliding gate and none of the drawbacks of a steel cantilever. Download the technical guide here.
